Further Education:

Tertiary Open Day – Canberra http://www.tertiaryopenday.com/

  • Canberra Tertiary Open Day is a collaboration between Canberra's five tertiary institutions (CIT, ADFA, ANU, UC and ACU) to annually host an open day at their corresponding campuses on one day.
  • This allows school leavers, mature age students and graduates to gain all the course and campus information they need in one go.
  • Live music, art exhibitions, restaurants and a free sausage sizzle will make Tertiary Open Day, 25 August from 9am till 4pm a fun day for all.

Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) http://www.cit.act.edu.au/

  • The Canberra Institute of Technology is the largest provider of vocational education and training in Canberra. CIT offers over 450 programs across five faculties to local, national and international students.

CIT will provide a place for any Year 12 student who has successfully completed nationally accredited Vocational Education and Training (VET) studies while at school.
You are eligible if:
•    You are  finishing Year 12 in 2007; and
•    You will have successfully completed a VET Qualification.
If you answered YES to both these questions you are eligible for a CIT Guaranteed place.

It applies to all programs but will be subject to you meeting the entry requirements for your chosen program.
